GC4C has successfully raised funds for various children's causes in recent years (See Current and Past Events), with the highlight being an annual winter fundraising party held during the Mineral Exploration Roundup and the Cambridge House Investment Conferences in Vancouver, BC. Directors Chafika Eddine, Joan McCorquodale, Nancy Curry, Sally Howson, Claudia Losie, Preet Pall and other members diligently research various charities throughout the year before selecting specific worthwhile projects to fund.

	Sally Howson Position: Executive Director Sally has worked in the mineral exploration industry for over 25 years. During the last 15 years, her career focus has shifted from managing geological exploration programs to the development and management of environmental and community consultation programs now required to move exploration projects to the development phase. Sally's extensive experience working in northern communities in Canada has provided her with many opportunities to work with various groups to develop local community programs for children. Her volunteer work with GC4C is an extension of the many programs she has participated in across Canada.
	Preet Pall Position: Director Preet is the owner of The Bronson Group Insurance Services. She has been self-employed since 2003 and collectively has 17 years of experience in Corporate Group Benefits and Insurance. Preet enjoys backpacking the world and volunteering at various organizations. She is a director of Watershed Watch Salmon Society since 2006, completed an exchange program in 2007 to Turkey promoting good will through the Rotary Foundation, and has volunteered at Share Family Services, Central City Foundation and the SPCA. For the past three years Preet has been coordinating efforts with Chafika Eddine to raise awareness and support for children in underprivileged countries, focusing on education needs, financial and social assistance.
	Nancy Curry Position: Director Nancy has volunteered her time to many local community organizations and spear-headed an annual Toy Drive sponsored by several Vancouver mining and exploration companies. Nancy brings more than 20 years of financial market, management and public company experience to the organization. Over the last 15 years she has focused her career on Corporate Communications for public exploration companies, and has been responsible for coordinating and implementing extensive corporate & shareholder communication programs for several exploration companies.
	Claudia Losie Position: Director Claudia is a lawyer at Boughton Law Corporation in Vancouver. She obtained her law degree at Osgoode Hall Law School in 1985 and has over 22 years of experience. Claudia advises on a broad range of matters in the areas of corporate finance and securities, corporate and commercial, natural resources, and technology law. Her clients include private, emerging public, and publicly-traded companies, limited partnerships, investment funds, and directors, officers, shareholders, and service providers. Her clients operate in sectors such as mining, oil and gas, alternative energy, technology, biotechnology, and biomedical.
	Chafika Eddine, LLB, PMP Position: Director For the past twelve years Chafika has been coordinating yearly campaigns to finance education of underprivileged children in developing countries. She is an accomplished professional with 18 years of experience in the field of mining and mineral exploration on numerous international projects with particular emphasis on Corporate Governance & Development. Ms Eddine is an active promoter and public speaker on best practices and continuous improvement in areas such as Environmental Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility. She is a Project Management Professional and a Lawyer certified by the PMI and the Brazilian Bar, with post-graduate studies in Finance. She is also a Mediator trained in Communication with Empathy. Her community engagement includes creating the Global Change for Children Foundation.
	Joan McCorquodale Position: Director Joan is a professional geologist with over 20 years of mineral exploration experience. She has explored for base and precious minerals and diamonds in North and South America, Australia, and Europe. Joan has had the opportunity to travel to remote corners of the world throughout her career, where she saw first-hand the need to help underprivileged children. She has donated her time to local and international school programs. In addition to her scientific background, Joan has been engaged in corporate development, corporate governance and financings. Joan is currently VP Exploration for New World Resource Corp and acting VP Exploration for Northern Lion Gold Corp.
	Pat Tanaka Position: CFO Pat has been working in the Resource Exploration Sector for the past 15 years. Ten years ago she started her own accounting company with a colleague and now prepares the financial reports for three public companies and sits on the board as Chief Financial Officer for Uranium North Resources. Pat has volunteered her services to many local community organizations and in meeting the Global Change For Children group, she knew it would be a good fit.
