Yukon Food For Learning (YFFL)

Our directors diligently researched eligible Canadian registered charities in order to select those that focused on helping children in need but were not aligned with political, religious or ideological causes. Other important criteria were low administration costs and opportunities to collaborate on specific projects.

Yukon Food for Learning Association (YFFL) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the nutritional needs of the youth and the community of the Yukon.

YFFL was formed in 1996 originally with assistance from the Breakfast for Learning, Canadian Living Foundation, a national fundraising foundation that supports child nutrition programs in Canada. YFFL is now an independent organization based in the Yukon raising funds for schools all across the territory. YFFL became a Canadian Registered Society in 2003. All members of YFFL's board of directors are volunteers.
